You’re serious about your business. You have a bigger picture of where you want to go – you just don’t quite know how to get there on your own.

You’ve done everything that you know how to do: you’ve subscribed to educational newsletters, you’ve attended a dozen workshops, and are part of a handful of online communities – and you still feel like you’re missing a piece of the puzzle to your success.

All of those approaches are great and serve their purpose, but you may be at a point in your business where you feel frustrated or hopeless because you’ve hit a plateau and can’t seem to push through to the next level.

Think of it like a having a temporary business partner.  You want a someone who’s also an entrepreneur who gets it.  Because let’s face it, not everyone understands how much we work, how hard we hustle, and just how big our dreams are. Sometimes, you just need a little one-on-one attention from someone who will listen, strategize, and help you implement an action plan that is tailored to your specific business, lifestyle, and goals.

Get my one-on-one mentoring, specific action steps and strategies designed just for you, my encouragement, and the accountability you need to see the changes you desire in your business.

business coaching for creatives process

As a fellow entrepreneur, I come to the partnership with over 15 years of experience as a small business owner.  I opened my first business when I was still in college and over the course of five years, that business grew to have two successful branches in two different states.  For the past five years, I’ve grown Jillian Joseph Photography into a business that is profitable and allows me more time with my family.

Over the course of owning and operating two very different businesses, I’ve learned a few things: 1) I learned that anyone, when properly equipped with the right knowledge and tools, can be a successful small business owner,  2) I learned that without that knowledge and the right tools, feelings of frustration and failure, and even the real possibility of having to go back to working for someone else is inevitable, and last but not least 3) Nobody gets there alone.

I’ve begun mentoring small business owners over the years because I love to see people succeed.  I truly believe that you’re passionate about whatever service or product you offer, which is why you started your business in the first place, and I believe that passion and your business should be a source of joy and profit and not a source of frustration and lacking. With the proper strategies and processes in place, your business will bring you satisfaction and happiness.

The one hour intensive is designed for business owners who either have a smaller budget available to invest in the growth of their business or they have one area of concern they’d like to dive deeper into.

I like to think of the one hour intensive as one hour, one topic.

This is excellent for:

  • Portfolio reviews
  • Pricing structure development, or
  • For any particular area of your business you’d like to develop further.

You’re able to customize how you’d like to use your four hours. You can divide the time into two hours of business topics (2-4 topics max to get the most out of it) and use the other two hours to focus on developing areas of your photography.

The four hour intensive is all about you and your business because everyone has different levels of experience, expertise, and different areas they want to develop.

The one month mentorship is broken down into four scheduled weekly one hour phone calls with me one-on-one.  It is designed for the small business owner who is either just starting out and would love to learn from my mistakes instead of their own, or for the creative who wants to focus more intensely on specific strategies to take their business to the next level.

This month long mentorship provides an in-depth look at some your business processes, goals, and overall direction.  The week between each of our mentoring calls is for you to implement the action steps and strategies we discussed during the week prior.  This scheduling promotes accountability, sticking to a timeline to achieve your goals, and also gives you an opportunity to discuss any success or challenges you encountered during the previous week with direct feedback.

"The processes I learned to streamline and automate parts of my business have saved my sanity and given me more time to focus on other areas."

"There are so many ways you've helped me! A few things I found most helpful were your guidance on my pricing structure, shooting film and how and when to shoot it, creating effective e-mails, and ideas on how to create a client experience that still has them talking, and so much more! I really can't say enough!`
